Imaging Systems


Our company's strength lies primarily in the design of various imaging systems and objectives. We have developed numerous optics for microscopes, endoscopes, and otoscopes, and we have also designed large-scale (>40 m) optical systems used in fusion research, primarily in TOKAMAK type reactors. Such design work requires significant expertise due to extremely tight tolerances, radiation-resistant materials, and the integration of custom-made components and materials. Over two decades of operation, along with our colleagues' prior industrial and academic careers spanning 30 years, we have gained substantial experience in material science, industry, and design.

Ansys-ZEMAX Optical Design Software

We use ZEMAX OpticStudio at an exceptionally high level, with decades of experience, for designing optical systems, custom lenses, and light distributions. With multiple licenses, our colleagues can work simultaneously and collaborate as needed.

Our high-performance, 64-core workstation accelerates optimization tasks and non-sequential model runs, saving valuable time.

If necessary, we create custom DLLs and scripts to design complete systems with arbitrary layers, surfaces, and cost functions.

Thanks to our latest Ansys system integration software package, we can export to any CAD system, facilitating integration into complex mechanical systems.

Wide-angle lens for wheel alignment system.

We have been a supplier to a renowned German company manufacturing optical wheel alignment systems for several years with our custom-designed lens, which we manufacture and test in-house.

Compact optical module for Head Mounted Display (HMD)

The compact optical module contains the transmission microdisplay, imaging lens, and aspheric plastic eyepiece in one unit. The light path of the imaging lens is folded multiple times using a polarization beam splitter prism and a lens coated with a reflective layer on one side, as well as a lambda/4 plate placed in the light path. The double folding significantly reduces the size of the optical module. The large eye relief allows near-sighted users to view the image through their glasses. The large eyebox diameter eliminates the need for pupil distance adjustment in the HMD.

Custom otoscope optical system featuring an image inversion using a folded prism optics, resulting in a compact and convenient device. Thousands of units have been produced based on our designs.

Lighting Systems, Public Lighting


Designing lighting systems is also a frequent task, whether for street lighting or microscope applications. We can optimize non-sequential models using ray tracing, simulating spatial light distribution and illumination for specific areas. Whether LED, fluorescent, or incandescent lamps, we can build models to calculate spatial and angular distributions, designing custom mirrors, polymer or glass lenses if necessary to achieve the desired characteristics.
